A very caring and supportive husband, brother and friend

BRETT, Robert Gregory - (1947 - 2020) - Robert Gregory Brett passed away at home, on Saturday morning, December 12, 2020, with his wife Linda of 37 years by his side. He was born in St. Michael’s Hospital and spent three weeks at St. Mike’s prior to returning home for his Palliative Care under the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care. Linda thanks the team of home care support staff, whose care and compassion allowed Robert to spend his last days at home. Robert is survived by his wife, Linda, and two brothers, Donald and Steven, both of Ottawa. Robert was a CP Rail retiree, having worked for CP for 36 years. He remained active with the Toronto Area Pensioners’ Association as Treasurer, until just before his death. Robert will be remembered by his friends and family as a very caring and supportive husband, brother and friend.

Donations in his memory may be made to your favourite charity. Robert was a regular donor to the Salvation Army; however, the needs of all causes are immense at this unprecedented time.

A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date once it is safe. Arrangements entrusted with Rosar-Morrison funeral home, Toronto.
