Item 3: SOFA Audit Results:

SOFA Audits: Safe Observations, At-risk observations, SOFA Audit Summary For 2007:

The basic concept of communication, or its lack of, has been attributed to the cause of many Accidents & incidents

across the property last year. The key is that we must not assume the other members of our crew know what we are

going to do; we must talk about it constantly so we are all sure everyone else is on the same page as us.

For 2007, Toronto Yard Joint H&S Committee will commence use of an RCLS SOFA AUDIT addendum an effort to capture and document RCLS operations since most of the yard operations at Toronto Yard are RCLS.

The purposes of this RCLS tracking sheet are for easy cross reference to identify on the areas of concern that the Toronto Yard Health and Safety Committee may have to address the unique problems in regards to RCLS Operations.
