Letter to request reimbursement of LTD
premiums upon retirement
When members of the LTD Plan retire,
(resigning at 54/11 does not qualify them for a refund) they are
entitled to a refund of the premiums they have paid in the last 41
weeks of employment. But first, they must contact Pension Services
in order to request a letter which states that they have retired on
a lifetime pension from CPR. When they receive that letter, they
will enclose it with the pre-printed letter of request.
If letters are in order, the Trustees approve
payments at their quarterly meetings.
