After representatives of the TCRC, CMC, & Service
Area management Team discussed concerns regarding
placement of LE & C/T/Y employees post change of
card, the following clarification regarding the WPP
will be applied within the CMC.
Change of Cards bids were only for permanent
positions at Change of Card. The position you owned
at change of card will not change with the WPP
process unless you send in a new WPP bid moving
forward.
Considering the current state of the economy,
further reductions may occur that could possibly
cause further movement, therefore, it is strongly
advised you have a current WPP bid on record with
the CMC to ensure all of your options are accounted
for.
The CMC will ensure this process is clarified and
updated moving forward for the changes to take
effect this upcoming Monday May11th, 2009.
