With Deepest Sympathies, Brother Luc Massie
It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we share the tragic news that one of our railway families has received the worst news imaginable. Our dear Brother Luc Massie of Smiths Falls was involved in a train accident that sadly proved fatal.
Today, our Union family mourns alongside Luc’s loved ones, friends, and fellow members. On behalf of our office, we extend our deepest sympathies to Luc’s immediate family and to all of our Brothers and Sisters in Smiths Falls who are grieving this tremendous loss.
During this difficult time, we want the family and membership to know that they have our full support. We stand united in offering whatever assistance and compassion may be needed in the days and weeks ahead.
This tragedy serves as a solemn reminder of the dangers inherent in our profession and the risks that railway workers face every day. It is also a time for us to look after one another, support our fellow members, and keep those affected by this loss in our thoughts.
